Obituary for Anne B Baginski (Krolikiewicz)

Anne Baginski of Wallington, entered eternal life, Sunday, April 3rd, 2022, she was 94. Anne was born in Brooklyn NY on November 30, 1927, to Paul and Sofia (Czehoska) Krolikiewicz. In 1950 Anne met her future husband while serving as a bridal attendant for a mutual friend’s wedding. After a year of Alfons courting Anne, they were married on April 28, 1951 in Queens NY. They enjoyed 55 years of marriage at the time of his passing on March 20th, 2007. In 1957 Anne and Alfons along with their four children, moved to Passaic, NJ, and became the owner operators of the Crystal Ballroom, a wedding venue in Passaic. In the 1960's the family moved and settled in Wallington. While raising her family Anne had worked at a temp agency, and did so for over 20 years. In 1987 Anne and Alfons relocated to Brandon and Ruskin Florida, where they had lived for 20 years. In 2012 she decided to come back to live in Wallington. Anne was an avid reader of historical and literary fiction. In her later years Anne was inflicted with macular degeneration and should have been stopped her from reading. However, her strength and perseverance was unmatched and armed with her Nook and limited to six words per page, she was able to complete hundreds of books. She also enjoyed listening to political commentary and episodes of Downton Abbey. When Anne wasn't reading or watching the the television, she was spending quality time with her grandchildren. Anne is survived by her loving children, John & Tami Baginski; Mary Ellen & Stanley Wojtowicz; Debra Rozansky; and Thomas & Karen Baginski. her ten beloved grandchildren and her cherished eleven great-grandchildren. Anne was predeceased by her dear sisters Helen and Jeanne. Visiting 4 - 7 pm, Thursday, April 7th, Warner-Wozniak Funeral Service, 80 Midland Ave., Wallington, NJ 07057. A funeral Mass will be celebrated 11 am, Friday, April 8th, at The Most Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, 127 Paterson Ave., Wallington, NJ. A private committal service to follow. In lieu of flowers, (It is the Lenten season, and flowers are not able to be in the Church during this time), the family has requested that contributions to the, Restoration Fund at The Most Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, 127 Paterson Avenue, Wallington, NJ would be greatly appreciated. www.WarnerAndWozniak.com
