I am sorry to hear about the passing of Ann. Although I have not seen her in recent years I have many memories from time gone by.
Ann and Ed were part of a very special group of friends that would get together quite frequently back in the day. We were all so young. What can I say? Time marches on. Over the years we had lost touch.
Then several years later our friendship suddenly evolved full circle again when my son Jarret ended up in the same class with Steven Giesemann in grammar school. What are the odds of that? The two boys were together constantly. Two peas in a pod. But, unfortunately, once again all good things came to an end when we moved out of Dumont and the boys ended up going their separate ways. But the memories remain.
Ann may you rest in peace and my prayers go out to Ed, Steven and Sue. May God Bless!

Anne, my memories of you are from meeting you at Mass each Saturday evening at Holy Name’s Chapel. Your smile, outgoing personality, and hugs remain with me. I always enjoyed the beautiful stories and photos of your loving family. And when Paisley was born you became a grandmother, over the moon in love with her. Ed, you are a shining example of true love and I’m certain Anne is now watching over you. May God grant you and your family strength and peace during this difficult time. Anne, Rest In Peace.

Anne, each week when we met for Mass at Holy Name, you would eagerly rush over to give me a hug and share your news. I will miss that. But I like to think that, if you could, you would tell me how wonderful you feel now, healthy and happy without a care in the world; and how filled you are with love for Ed, Sue, Steven, and all the dear ones you had to leave behind who now mourn your loss. We will miss your hugs, but luckily we have these beautiful photos here to remind us of your smile.
Our departed ones are closer to us than we know, but it is so easy to forget that. Ed, your faithful, loving companion of a lifetime, will surely miss you most. Please send him little reminders every now and then, so he will know you are near and thinking of him, and not feel so alone.
Well, the show must go on. Goodbye and God bless you, Anne, until we meet again.
Love, Kathy Bartoletti
