Obituary for Clementine Dubis (Golebieski)

Clementine Dubis of Wallington, entered eternal life on Friday, April 29th, 2022, she was 88. Clementine was born on January 11th, 1934 in Passaic, NJ to John and Mary (Warzocha) Golebieski. She was a graduate of Passaic High School Class of 1952 and was a head majorette in the Passaic High School Marching Band. On February 19, 1955 Clementine married Eugene Dubis at Holy Rosary Church in Passaic. She was married for 60 years. Over the years, she worked as an Avon representative, a receptionist/coat checker at The Cotillion in Garfield, and a homemaker who always cared for others. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and was the biggest fan at their school sporting events. She also enjoyed spending time with family, friends, and neighbors at her summer home at the lake. She was a Parishioner of Most Sacred Heart of Jesus R.C. Church in Wallington. She was a member of the V.F.W. Wallington Ladies Auxiliary Club, and the Wallington Senior Citizens Club. Clementine is survived by her devoted daughter, Sharon and her husband, Myron Dabal. She is also survived by her loving grandchildren, Christopher (Kim), Michael (Melissa), Shane (Melanie), Breanna (Dan), Jon, Samantha; her cherished great grandchildren - Michael and Nathan, and many beloved nieces, nephews, and cousins. Clementine was predeceased by her husband Eugene, her son Chris, her brother Joseph, and her sister Irene.
Visitation hours will be 5-8 p.m. on Monday, May 9, 2022 at Warner-Wozniak Funeral Service, 80 Midland Avenue, Wallington, NJ. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, May 10, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at Most Sacred Heart of Jesus Roman Catholic Church, 127 Paterson Avenue, Wallington. Interment will follow at St. Michael's Cemetery, South Hackensack. In lieu of flowers, contributions to The Most Sacred Heart of Jesus Roman Catholic Church grand hall restoration fund, are appreciated.
