Obituary for Emily Dabrowski (Wilk)

Emily D. Dabrowski of Wallington, entered eternal life on June 26th, she was 101. Emily was born in Passaic, NJ on Feb. 5th, 1922 to Michael and Mary (Radek) Wilk. Emily was a lifelong resident of Wallington, until 2015, when she moved to be with her daughter and family in West Nyack, NY. On August 24th, 1946, Emily married her beloved husband Edward at The Most Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, in Wallington. They were married 52 years when Edward predeceased her in February of 1999. Emily had worked for many years at Henry Plant and the Dexter Knitting Mill, where she worked as a seamstress. She was an avid reader of the daily newspaper and was still getting her daily subscription of Bergen County news. In addition to her hobby of sewing, she enjoyed playing the lotto, watching movies on the Lifetime and Hallmark channels, and would never miss the Family Feud. Emily is survived by her devoted and beloved daughter Ruth and her husband Robert Vella, her granddaughter Jocelyn and husband John Dinoia, her cherished great-grandchildren Dylan and Chelsea, her dear sister Irene Molitoris and many nieces and nephews. Emily was predeceased by her son Kenneth Dabrowski in Sept 2021, her sister Helen Stradl and brothers John and Stanley Wilk. Visiting, 3-7 pm, Wednesday, June 28, 2023, Warner-Wozniak Funeral Service, 80 Midland Ave., Wallington. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10am, Thursday, June 29, 2023, The Most Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, 127 Paterson Ave, Wallington.
