Eugene Banas of East Rutherford, New Jersey, entered eternal life on Monday, July 3rd, 2023. He was 91. Eugene was born in Wallington, New Jersey on April 10th, 1932, to Adalbert and Mary Banas. Eugene was married to Barbara Wojcik. In 1952, Eugene joined the Army and was also a member of the 50th Army Band in Washington DC. After being honorably discharged, Eugene worked as an aerospace laboratory tech at Singer Kearfott Aerospace/BAE Systems, in Wayne, NJ. He is survived by his loving children, Donna and her husband Steven Chirichella, Diane and her husband Robert Polito, and Robert and his wife Georgianna Banas, his cherished grandchildren, Robert, Alex and his fiancée Trisha, Laura and her fiancé Anthony, and Sarah, and his dear great grandchildren, Bree, Madeline, and Alex and many grand pups. Eugene was predeceased by his beloved wife Barbara (2004), his three brothers, John, Joseph, and Stephen Banas and his four sisters, Matilda Kubler, Helen Lapitka, Sophie Banas, and Maryann Baldasti.
