Obituary for Genowefa Poltorak (Zak)

Genowefa Poltorak of Wallington for over 50 years, entered eternal life on Sunday, February 18th, 2018, she was 83. Genowefa was born in Przyszow, Poland on November 5th, 1934, to Adam and Maria (Warchol) Zak. On September 4th, 1957 Genowefa married her beloved husband Henry. They came to the United States in 1962. Genowefa was a dedicated homemaker and mother, although she was a self-employed hairdresser, and had also worked as a seamstress and at a bakery on Monroe Street in Passaic. She enjoyed knitting and dress making in her spare time. Genowefa is survived by her beloved husband Henry of over 60 years, her devoted children and their spouses, George and Diane Poltorak, Mary and Dave Folz, Barbara and Tony Braico. She is also survived by her 7 cherished grandchildren, Dana, Dylan, Karl, Derek, Ashley, Cassidy and Brandi, and her two great-grandchildren Hunter and Carter. Visiting 2-4 and 7-9 pm, Friday, February 23rd at Warner-Wozniak Funeral Service, 80 Midland Ave. Wallington, NJ. A funeral Mass will be celebrated 10am, Saturday, February 24th,at Holy Rosary Church, 6 Wall Street Passaic.
