Irene Zulkowski of Wallington and previously of Glen Rock, NJ, entered eternal life on Wednesday, April 13th, 2022, she was 96. Irene was born in Dupont, Pennsylvania on January 6th, 1926, to Paul and Mary (Figura) Kaspriski. Irene met Edwin Zulkowski at a chicken-BBQ at The Transfiguration of Our Lord Catholic Church and was later married in that same church on March 1st, 1997. Irene and Ed just celebrated 25 happy and loving years together. During her professional career, Irene was an executive secretary at the International Wire Production Co., in Wyckoff, for over 25 years. She then worked at Dworetsky excavators until her retirement. Irene had a love for flowers and loved spending time in the garden. Irene is survived by her loving husband, Edwin, her devoted daughters and their husbands, Jan and Jeff West, Nora and Bryan Jackson, Gail and John Koromhas, her cherished step daughters, Linda Zulkowski, Beverly and her husband Bernie Desbiens. She is also survived by her beloved grandchildren, Amy, Michael, Karen, Allison and Paul; her cherished great grandchildren, Karma, Tre, Violet, Michael JR; and her dear sisters, Peggy and Vern. Irene was predeceased by her sisters Mary and Bertie, her brother Paul (PK) and her granddaughter Emily.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11 am, Wednesday, April 20th, at The Transfiguration of Our Lord Catholic Church, 135 Hathaway St. Wallington, NJ. Irene will be laid to rest at East Ridgelawn Cemetery, 255 Main Avenue Clifton, NJ 07014.
