John (Jan) Wolak, age 80, passed away on April 3, 2018. Born in Przyszow Ruda, Poland, he came to the United States in 1965. John was a member of Young Association in Passaic, NJ. He was a church lector for many years at St. Joseph Church in Passaic and belonged to the Aria Choir. John worked at Rutherford Machinery until they changed to Segua Corp. He worked there for almost 35 years, before retiring in 2003. John is survived by his daughter Alicia, and was predeceased by his daughter, Yolanda. He is also survived by his sister Aniela Nikolas of Poland and was recently predeceased by his sister Wladslawa Kotwica. He is also survived by a very special niece, Malgorzata Czplarski, her husband Adam and son Matthew, as well as other numerous nieces and nephews. Visiting Friday, April 6th, 2-4 & 6-8 pm, Warner-Wozniak Funeral Service, 80 Midland Ave, Wallington. A funeral Mass will be celebrated 10 am, Saturday, April 7th, at St. Joseph's Church, 7 Parker Ave, Passaic. Interment will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery, Saddle Brook.
