Maria Rodriguez of The Bronx, entered eternal life on October 14th, 2020, she was 61. Maria was born in Luquillo, Puerto Rico on April 4, 1959, to Leoncio and Julia (Ramos) Ortiz. She came to the mainland United States in 1973, living in the Bronx. She had also lived in New Jersey for a time, and then returned to the Bronx. She had been a professional cook for many years. Maria enjoyed cooking, listening to music, dancing, reading and talking with friends. She enjoyed bragging about her family; and could often be found at the Casinos, playing the slots. Maria is survived by her devoted daughter Angelica Villena, her beloved grandchildren Michael, Kristal and Matthew and her cherished great-granddaugher Shaena. Maria is survived by her significant other Angel Rosa. She is also survived by her dear sisters Julia Casanova and Juana Gomez.
