Obituary

Marianna "Maryśa" Sobocinski of Garfield, and formerly of Passaic and Wallington, entered eternal life, Tuesday, March 10th, she was 83. Marianna was born in Gniazdowo, Poland on April 2nd, 1936, to Stanislaw and Michalina (Jaworowska) Grabinski. Marianna was married to Pawel Sobocinski in Poland in 1956, he predeceased her in August of 2000. While living in Poland Maryśa had worked as a nurse. After coming to the United States in 1984, she took work at Leslie's in Wallington as a seamstress, retiring in 2001. In addition to gardening, Maryśa enjoyed socializing with her friends and being a devoted parishioner of Holy Rosary Church in Passaic. Maryśa is survived by her devoted sons and their wives, Marek and Joanna Sobocinski, Robert and Monica Sobocinski, her three beloved grandchildren, Lukasz, Natalia, Alexandra; her four cherished great-grandchildren, Jakob, Dominic, Gabriela and Isabella; and her dear sister Jadwiga Sot and dear brother Czeslaw Grabinski, and she was predeceased by her sister Kazimiera.
Visiting 7 - 9 pm, Thursday, March 12th, Warner-Wozniak Funeral Service, 80 Midland Ave. Wallington. A funeral Mass will be celebrated 10 am, Friday, March 13th, Holy Rosary Church, 6 Wall Street Passaic, New Jersey 07055. Maryśa will be laid to rest with her husband Pawel at St. Mary's Cemetery in Saddle Brook, immediately following. www.WarnerAndWozniak.com

If roses grow in heaven,
Lord please pick a bunch for me,
Place them in my Mother’s arms
and tell her they’re from me.
Tell her I love her and miss her,
and when she turns to smile,
place a kiss upon her cheek
and hold her for awhile.
Because remembering her is easy,
I do it every day,
but there’s an ache within my heart
that will never go away.

Babcia,
Na zawsze zapamiętam ciebie i wszystkie wspomnienia, które dzielimy i miłość, którą do mnie miałeś. Mamy tak wiele wspomnień, że na zawsze będę je pielęgnować. Pamiętam dni, w których opiekowałeś się mną po szkole. Zawsze mieliśmy najlepszy czas razem. Zrobiliśmy razem chrusciki, nauczyłeś mnie robić na drutach, a kilka dni odbierałeś mnie ze szkoły i chodziliśmy razem do domu i zawsze dostawaliśmy pizzę. To były najlepsze dni. Zawsze byłeś ze mnie dumny i zawsze we mnie wierzyłeś. Zawsze troszczyłeś się o innych bardziej niż o siebie, upewniając się, że nigdy nie byłem głodny, kiedy cię odwiedzałem. Babcia żyła po prostu, telefon lub wizyta rodziny sprawiły, że była bardzo szczęśliwa. Mam nadzieję, że w trudnych momentach możemy uczyć się od ciebie i starać się radzić sobie z trudnościami tak jak ty. Znajduję spokój, wiedząc, że jesteście teraz razem ze wszystkimi innymi, których kochacie, którzy przeminęli wcześniej. Kocham cię, babcia, i kiedyś znów będziemy razem.
