Obituary for Raymond A Wilson

Raymond A. Wilson, 64, of Jersey City, entered eternal life on April, 19, 2020. Raymond was a lifelong resident of Jersey City and worked for Hartz Mountain Industries. He was a senior Field Supervisor, from 1987 until the time of his passing. Raymond was the loving father of Raymond (RJ) and his wife Rose, his son Brian and his wife Kelly. He was the cherished grandfather to Ryan, Justin, Maximus, Justine and her husband Michael. His great grandsons Luke and Aiden. His sister Theresa Miller and his longtime girlfriend Patricia Janssen. Ray is also survived by his nephews and niece and was predeceased by his father Raymond H. Wilson, his mother Rose Rita Bonaventura and his brother Steve Wilson. Raymond loved sports, especially football, where his favorite team was the Vikings. He was a big Star Trek fan who’s favorite saying was “Live Long and Prosper.”. He was a lifelong coach, starting with his sons and ending with his grandsons. He was their #1 fan and cheered them on through losses and wins. He loved going to his favorite restaurant La Reggia, in Secaucus with his longtime girlfriend Patty, where they enjoyed dinner, drinks and music.
