Robert Gage of Wallington, NJ, entered eternal life on August 1st, 2021, he was 78. Robert was born on April 23, 1943 to Zygmund and Lucille (Chaplic) Gage. He was raised in Jersey City where he graduated High School. He married his beloved wife Barbara (Eaton) at Immaculate Conception Church in Secaucus, NJ on October 14th, 1961. He had been a member of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters Local 177. He drove for United Parcel for over 35 years, prior to his retirement. In his free time Robert enjoyed fishing, working in the yard, and watching home improvement shows.He also was an avid fan of the NJ Devils hockey and the NY Jets and the NY Mets. Robert is survived by his beloved wife Barbara, his children Robert George Gage Jr, Brian and his wife Ellen Gage, Gregory and his wife Lucy Gage, Steven and his wife Kristin Gage, and Kristen Gage. He is also survived by his cherished eight grandchildren, Brielle, Eric, Brittany, Kaitlyn, Matthew, Jason, Julia and Brody. Visiting Monday, August 9th, 5-8 pm, and Tuesday, August 10th, 9-9:30 am, Warner-Wozniak Funeral Service, 80 Midland Avenue, Wallington, NJ 07057. A funeral Mass will be celebrated 10 am, Tuesday at The Most Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, 127 Paterson Avenue, Wallington, NJ. Robert will be entombed at the mausoleum in Holy Cross Cemetery, Ridge Road, North Arlington.
