William P. Bigos from the Township of Washington and formerly of Garfield, NJ entered eternal life on June 27th, 2020, he was 89. William was born on February 11th, 1931 to Agnes and Joseph Bigos in Ogdensburg, New Jersey, where he also spent a part of his childhood. He proudly served in the United States Army from 1952-1953 and was honorably discharged as a Corporal. On June 30th, 1962 William was married to Genevieve Fitzgerald in Fair Lawn, NJ. He had lived in Garfield prior to moving to Township of Washington in 2006. For many years he had worked for Basic Foods in Englewood, NJ. He later worked in construction, where he enjoyed working with his hands, and building things. He retired in 1991, and a new love for carpentry and woodworking began, which became his hobby and passion. William is survived by his beloved wife of nearly 58 years, Genevieve Bigos, his four loving children Colleen and her husband Christopher Dellivenneri, William Bigos, Jr., Kathleen and her husband Jeff Dicuia and James and his wife Jessica Bigos. William is also survived by his nine devoted grandchildren Steven, Kelly, William, Cody, Robert, Michael, Daniel, Matthew, Elliana and his cherished great grand-daughter Fiona. He was predeceased by one brother and one sister.
