William (Bill) Mazur a lifelong resident of Wallington, entered eternal life on April 14th, he was 78. Bill was born on January 7th, 1942 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Passaic, NJ, to Stanley and Jane (Molinski) Mazur. Bill was a graduate of Wallington High School and Seton Hall University, graduating with a B.A. in Psychology. Upon graduation Bill enlisted in the US Army where he graduated from Infantry Officer Candidate School in Ft. Benning, GA. He served two years in a recruiting station located in Springfield, MA. After he was discharged he joined the RCA Corporation where he served in various human resources positions for over twenty years. In 1990 he took a position with the New Jersey Judiciary working as a Court Clerk in the Bergen County Justice Center in Hackensack, NJ for 15 years, retiring in 2005. Bill had been a longtime parishioner of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus. Since 2017 Bill has been a resident of the Arbor Glen Center in Cedar Grove. Bill was predeceased by his parents. He is survived by his devoted brother Robert and his wife Linda, who currently reside in Owasso, Oklahoma. He is survived by his niece Maryann (Mazur) Wright and her husband David and their two children Mackenna and Gavin of Owasso, Oklahoma; and his nephew Jeffrey Mazur and his wife Mindy and their twin daughters Melody and Eliza of Webster Groves, Missouri. Bill was laid to rest St. Mary's Cemetery in Saddle Brook. Fr. Steven D'Andrea offered the committal prayers during this most difficult time. As it is not possible to have visitation or the celebration of a funeral Mass at this time, when things settle down, the Mazur family will host a memorial service at the funeral home followed by a memorial Mass to celebrate Bill's life.
