Barbara Stetz

Barbara Stetz, of Parsippany, formerly of Wallington, entered eternal life, October 6th, 2026, she was 85. Barbara was born on June 1st, 1941 in Passaic, NJ. She was a graduate of Passaic High School, Class of 1959. She married her beloved husband Frank Stetz on November 3rd, 1962; and they would have been married 64 years this November. They settled in Wallington and owned and operated Mom's Place Tavern on Hathaway Street from 1979 to 1996. Barbara was very supportive of her children and their activities, sporting events, cub scout den mother and the President of the Wallington PTA, 1976 - 1985. When she was younger, she was an avid sports fan and QVC shopper, which she treated as a sport. She and Frank moved to Parsippany in 2001 to live with their daughter Cheryl and her family. Barbara is survived by her beloved husband Frank, her devoted children Mark and Lisa, Kurt and Patti, Cheryl and Bill. She was predeceased by her beloved son Frankie. Barbara is also survived by her seven grandchildren Ryan and Inez, Shannen and Matt, Rebecca, Matthew and Marissa, Alex, Daniel, Mikey; and her great grandson Matthew. Barbara was predeceased by her dear parents John and Caroline Gugala. A memorial visitation will be held, Friday, October 16th, 5 - 8 pm, Warner-Wozniak Funeral Service, 80 Midland Avenue, Wallingotn, NJ. A memorial funeral Mass will be celebrated on 11am, Saturday, October 17th, at The Most Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, 127 Paterson Avenue, Wallington, NJ. The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, contributions be made in Barabara's name to, St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital, and that is much appreciated.
