Secaucus

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Benito P. Rosario, who entered eternal rest on July 14, 2026.

Born on April 3, 1939, in Salinas, Puerto Rico, Benito, affectionately known as "Benny" by his family and friends, was the beloved son of Martin Rosario and Higinia Maldonado. He later made his home in Secaucus, New Jersey, where he built a life centered on family, hard work, and generosity.

Benny was a proud business owner who dedicated his career to his carpentry company. Through his craftsmanship, honesty, and strong work ethic, he earned the respect of everyone who had the privilege of working with him. He took great pride in helping others, whether through his profession or by lending a hand to family, friends, and neighbors.

Above all else, Benny was devoted to his family. He found his greatest joy in spending time with his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, always making sure everyone was doing well and never hesitating to help whenever he was needed. Whether he was fixing something around the house, sharing his wisdom, or simply bringing laughter and comfort to those around him, Benny's love was evident in everything he did.

Those who knew Benny will remember him as an amazing man with a kind heart, a generous spirit, and a smile that could brighten any room. His presence brought light to the lives of so many, and his legacy of love, compassion, and selflessness will live on through all who were fortunate enough to know him.

Benny was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Concepción Baez Rosario, whom he loved dearly, and by his beloved son, Jose Rosario.

He is lovingly survived by his brother, Jorge Rosario Maldonado and his wife, Carmen; children, Edwin Rosario and his wife, Idalia, and Melissa Rosario-Vasquez and her husband, Milton; his daughter-in-law, Anna Rosario; his cherished grandchildren, Jose Jr., Louie, Desiree, Cynthia, Edwin Jr., Noel, Idalia "Laly" Beteta and her husband, Josh, Yazlynne Ganju and her husband, Adeel, and Angelica Couto and her husband, Christian; and his adored great-grandchildren, Liyana, Mia, Ava, Riley "Riri," Samantha, Zayne, Sebastian, and Luca. His family was the center of his world, and he treasured every moment spent with each of them.

Though our hearts are broken by his passing, we find comfort in the countless memories he leaves behind and the lasting impact he made on his family and community. His strength, generosity, and unwavering love will continue to inspire all who knew him. He will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.

A memorial service celebrating Benny's life will be held on Saturday, July 18, 2026, at 10:45 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Church in Secaucus, New Jersey. Family and friends are invited to gather to honor and celebrate the remarkable life of a man who gave so much to others.
