Boleslaw Hornik

Boleslaw Hornik of Elmwood Park, New Jersey, entered eternal life on Saturday, March 8, 2025; he was 68 years old. Boleslaw was born in Niedzica, Poland, on October 30, 1956, to Sylwester Hornik and Helena Rzepiszczak. Boleslaw was married to Maria Hornik (Pacyga) on April 13, 1980, and prior to her death in 2023, they were married for 43 years; together they had two daughters, Katarzyna and Paulina.

Boleslaw emigrated to the United States in 1991, settling in Westchester County, New York, before moving to Elmwood Park in 2003. Boleslaw was a self-employed contractor and skillful carpenter; he was also an avid fisherman. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his five grandchildren: Jacob, Peter, Julia, Alicja, and Maya.

He is survived by his loving daughters, Katarzyna and her husband Krzysztof, and Paulina and her husband Bartosz. He is also survived by his cherished grandchildren Jacob, Peter, Julia, Alicja, and Maya. Boleslaw was predeceased by his beloved wife Maria, and they will be laid to rest together at St Mary Cemetery.
