Danuta “Diane” PyeDanuta Pye, affectionately known as Diane, was born on February 9, 1945, in Tworkowice, Poland. She lived a life filled with laughter and joy, world travel, a Christmas decoration collection to envy Macys on 34th street, and cooked up meals that always made you always ask for seconds….and if you didn’t ask for seconds, she’d offer you a second helping anyway. Diane dedicated many years of her professional life to Nabisco, retiring in 2000 with life-long friends whom she continued to enjoy as her Nabisco family. Diane passed away on June 8, 2025, leaving behind a cherished legacy. She is survived by her adoring husband, Ronald Pye, her beloved daughter, Margaret Chanin, and her Babci Serce, Nicole Murad and her husband, Ali Murad. Diane is also survived by her dear sisters, Irena and her husband Frank Sowa, as well as Maria and her husband Tony Kania. The love she shared with her siblings and many nieces and nephews will be forever remembered. Diane loved being known to her family as Ciocia Danush or Aunt Diane. Diane was preceded in death by her brothers, Jon and Kazimiesz Tenderenda, who were also an important part of her life.Visitation for Danuta Pye will be held on June 11, 2025, from 4:30 PM to 8:00 PM and June 12, 2025, from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at Warner-Wozniak Funeral Service, located at 80 Midland Ave, Wallington, NJ. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow on June 12, 2025, at 11:00 AM at The Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, located at 127 Paterson Avenue, Wallington, NJ. Following the Mass, interment will take place at St. Mary's Cemetery, 1 Outwater Lane, Saddle Brook, NJ, at 12:30 PM.The memory of Danuta Pye will live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege to know her. She brought laughter, love, and light into her family's lives, and her strong spirit will continue to inspire those she leaves behind.
