Donato Pasquale

Donato Pasquale, aka “The Boss”, of Wallington, NJ, entered eternal life, February 11th, 2026, he was 92. Donato was born in Monte San Giacomo, Italy, on September 15, 1933, to Michael and Marie Pasquale (Viciconte). He was the third child of nine siblings. He was raised as a sheep herder, and throughout his life was very proud of that work, and the memories that came with that. In February of 1959, he married his beloved wife Anna Chirichella, and they were married for fifty-eight years when Anna passed in 2017. Donato had also worked in Germany and Switzerland prior to his arrival in the United States in 1963. He secured employment at the S. Goldberg’s Shoe factory in Hackensack where he worked as a machine operator until his retirement. Upon arriving in the United States, he lived in various areas of Bergen and Hudson County until settling in Wallington in 1999. Donato enjoyed vegetable gardening and was known for his award winning, luscious tomatoes, and the Italian music that could always be heard playing nearby. He is predeceased by his beloved wife Anna. He is survived by his devoted sons and their wives, Michael and Janneth Pasquale and Vito and Mariangela Pasquale, and his cherished grandchildren, Daniel, Anthony and Annamaria. Visiting, Monday, February 16th, 5-8pm, Warner-Wozniak Funeral Service, 80 Midland Avenue, Wallington, NJ. A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, February 17th, 10am, at The Most Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, 127 Paterson Avenue, Wallington, NJ.
