Edward Partyka

Edward J. Partyka of Wallington, New Jersey, died on May 22, 2011; he was 94 years young. Edward was born in Hartford, Connecticut on November 8th, 1916. In 1938 he married his beloved Stefania. They spent seventy two years together, until Stefania's death, in January of this year. During WWII, Edward was called to the war, and joined the US ARMY. He was a Radio Operator and took part in the second wave, to hit the Normandy beach head on D-Day. He has been a life long parishioner of Holy Rosary R.C. Church on Wall Street in Passaic. He is the beloved father of Regina, and her husband John Opalka; and Fred Partyka. He is also survived by his beloved grand-children; Danielle and Justin Opalka and Jason Partyka. Visiting will take place on Wednesday, May 25th, 2011 from 4-7 PM. A Mass of the Resurrection, will take place on Thursday, May 26th, 2011 at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at St. Michael's Cemetery, S. Hackensack, New Jersey.
