James Gralski

James Gralski of New Windsor, NY died peacefully at his home on Oct 22nd, he was 87. Jim was born in Bethlehem, PA on Oct 14th, 1926. In 1935 the family moved to NYC and at the age of 16 Jim joined the US Navy and served in WWII. Several years later he was called back by the Navy and again served in Korea. Jim worked for 54 years at Denman & Davis Steel in Clifton, NJ. He worked in many capacities throughout the years and ended his career as a salesman. On June 25th, 1983 Jim married Victoria Regina in Tuxedo, NY, where they lived until 2003; then moving to New Windsor, NY. Jim was a die-hard fan of the NY Yankees and the NY Rangers. He was also the former president of the H.H. Rogers and Cabrini Lodge, Sons of Italy. In addition to his beloved and devoted wife Victoria, he is survived by his children and their spouses; James (Denise) Gralski, Thomas (Dale) Gralski, Corrine (Dan) Connolly, Anthony (Eileen) Gralski, Maria (Steven) Kaplan and Matthew (Cindy) Moran. He is survived by his cherished 13 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his siblings, Bill, Johnny, Stanley, Ann and Betty. Visiting Friday, Oct 25th 2-4 and 6-8 PM, Warner-Wozniak Funeral Service 80 Midland Ave, Wallington, NJ. A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, Oct 26th, at 10 AM at Church of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus127 Paterson Ave, Wallington, NJ. Contributions may be made to the H.H. Rogers Cabrini Lodge, Sons of Italy, PO Box 341, Tuxedo, NY 10987. Interment will follow at Mary Rest Cemetery in Mahwah. Please share your condolences with the family WarnerAndWozniak.com
