Jan Augustynowicz

Jan Augustynowicz, of Rutherford, entered eternal life on February 23rd, 2026, he was 74. Jan was born in Nowy Dwor, Poland, on January 1st, 1952 to Jozef and Stefania (Labieniec) Augustynowicz. Jan's journey was one of dedication and love. He attended technical school in Poland and later married his beloved wife, Wieslawa Stasiulewicz. In the early 1990s, the family made the courageous move to the United States, settling in Rutherford. He worked diligently at ABM, a maintenance company in New York, until his retirement in 2021. Jan leaves behind his devoted wife, Wieslawa, his children and their spouses: Krzysztof and Katarzyna, Jan and Marta, and Malgorzata and Grzegorz Garbacki. He is also survived by his cherished grandchildren: Jacob, Peter, Michael, and Thomas, as well as his sister Janina. Jan was predeceased by his sister Helena.

We invite you to join us in remembering and honoring Jan's life. Visiting hours will be held on Saturday, February 28th, from 2 to 5 pm at Warner-Wozniak Funeral Service, located at 80 Midland Avenue, Wallington, NJ. A funeral Mass will be celebrated in Nowy Dwor, Poland, followed by burial in the Nowy Dwor Cemetery.
