Jaroslaw Szymon Maslach

Jaroslaw (Jarek/Jerry) Szymon Maslach peacefully entered the Kingdom of Heaven on July 26, 2025, at age 46. He was born in Nisko, Poland to Edward Maslach and Krystyna (Marut) Maslach. He is survived by his adoring wife, Justyna (Nieznanska) Maslach, and two loving children, Eryk and Emily.

Also surviving are his parents, brother Tomasz Maslach, and sister Joanna Maslach. Additionally, Jarek is survived by a growing extended family.

As a young man, Jarek enjoyed many sports but found his true passion in volleyball. He graduated from the Mechanical Technical School in Stalowa Wola and went on to earn his M.S. in Wood Technology from the Warsaw University of Life Sciences.

He met his wife Justyna in 2002, got married in 2010 and was a devoted father to their children, Eryk and Emily.

Jarek spent his entire professional career working with wood at his own company, Masterpiece Finishing. He loved what he did, giving new life to mansions and furniture as well as restoring antiques for his customers. With his family he enjoyed the great outdoors—skiing, fishing, hiking, and biking. Last few years he developed a love for karate, which he attended with his son Eryk. He fulfilled his dream by buying a farm, building his own shop and planting an orchard.

Jarek’s sharp mind was only surpassed by his immense heart. Despite a demanding work schedule, Jarek always found time to help his extended family and friends.

Although he was deeply committed to his community and career, Jarek was most proud of his family.

Family and friends are invited to a Memorial Service held on Friday, August 15, 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Warner Wozniak Funeral Service, 80 Midland Ave, Wallington, NJ 07057. The funeral mass will take place on Saturday, August 16, 2025 at 10:00 AM at St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, 460 Hudson St, Hackensack, NJ 07601.

Following the church service, the burial will be at St. Mary's Cemetery, 224 Westminster Pl, Saddle Brook, NJ 07663.
