Maria Smulski

Maria Smulski, resident of Wallington, New Jersey age 98, formerly of Belarus. Maria came to the United States in 1950 and she resided in Jersey City. She was a life long resident of East Rutherford before settling in Wallington. She was an avid reader, writer, loved family get-together, shopping and of course enjoyed taking trips down to the Jersey shore to soak up the sun. 

Maria was pre-deceased by her loving husband, Ignacy Smulski and daughter Christine Matano. She is survived by her beloved daughter, Debbie Smulski, grandchildren Wendy Shortino and Joey Matano and great grandchildren, Samantha and Sydney Shortino. 

Maria devoted her life to her cherished family. Her spirit will live on in the hearts of those she loved. 

A private memorial service was held in Maria's honor at Warner Wozniak Funeral Home.
