Milan Cicak

Milan Cicak entered eternal life on Sunday, December 21st, he was 42. Milan was born on November 26th, 1983 in Michalovce, Slovakia, to Milan and Emilia (Palova) Cicakova. He came to the United States in 1999 at the age of 17 and settled in North Haledon, NJ, with his mother Emilia Cicakova, and his brother Marek Cicak. Milan was a self employed carpenter and worked in various areas of the construction industry. He was predceased by his beloved brother Marek in 2017 and his father Milan in 2022. Milan is survived by the love of his life his fiancee Nina Michalik. He is also survived by his devoted mother Emilia, his loving sister Zuzana Karchova, his cherished nephew Jan Karch and neice Alexandra Karchova. There will be a memorial funeral Mass, 2pm, Saturday, January 3rd, 2026 at the Slovak Catholic Church of St. John Nepomucene, 411 East 66th at First Ave,. New York, NY 10121. A funeral will take place in Slovakia in his home town of Lastomir on Wednesday, January 7th, 2026 at 2 pm; where Milan will be laid to rest with his beloved brother and father. The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, contributions to the church in Milan's name are appreciated.
