Salvatore Scannella

Salvatore Scannella, Jr., of Wayne, and formerly of Passaic and Paterson, entered eternal life on October 24th, 2025, he was 94. Sal was born in Passaic, NJ on June 28th, 1931 to Salvatore Sr., and Lena (Bellanza) Scannella. He spent his career as a truck driver, last working for Moon Carrier in Clifton and was a members of the Teamsters. He enjoyed tinkering with old cars and spending time with his family. Sal is survived by his beloved son Thomas and daughter in law Marsha, his loving grandchildren Lisa and Michael Perrucci, Danna and Steven Galarza and his two cherished great grandchildren, Colin and Abigail. Predeceased by his wife Mary, his daughter Linda Scannella, and his brother James Scannella. Visitation, Wednesday, October 29th from 9:30 - 10:30 Warner-Wozniak Funeral Service, 80 Midland Avenue, Wallington, NJ. A funeral Mass will be celebrated 11 am, Wednesday, at Our Lady of Mt.
