Stanislawa Pekala

Stanislawa Pekala of Lincoln Park, NJ and Blazowa, Poland, entered eternal life on February 10th, 2026, she was 92. Stanislawa was born in Blazowa, Poland on May 7th, 1933, to Jan and Emilia (Rybka) Chlebek. In 1955 she was married to her beloved husband Jozef, and they spent the next 50 years working in partnership, until his death in 2005. Stanislawa always found a way to keep herself busy and could often be found working on her projects of crocheting, needlepoint, puzzles, and crossword puzzles. She also enjoyed working in the garden, tending to her vegetables and flowers, and cooking and baking; but most important to her was her devotion to her faith and her church. Stanislawa spent many years traveling between Poland and the United States to see her beloved daughters, Alicja and her husband Nevenko Zivkovic and Anna and Ryszard Swietlik, and her cherished granddaughter Alexandra Zivkovic. Her love of Poland, family and friends kept taking her back, and Stanislawa will be laid to rest in the Cmentarz Parafialny w Blazowej, with her beloved husband Jozef.
