Zdzislaw “Jerry” Kuliga, age 90 passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 20th, 2025, in West Palm Beach, Florida. Born in Jersey City, NJ to Polish immigrants, Jerry grew up with strong values of a deep faith, family and hard work. He attended Don Bosco Preparatory High School and earned his bachelors and masters degrees from Seton Hall University, achievements that marked the start of a long and accomplished career.
A self-made entrepreneur, Jerry built a distinguished career in the pharmaceutical and diagnostics industries, where his vision and leadership helped revolutionize the microbiology market. He was respected for insight, integrity, and tireless drive to improve the field he loved.
Jerry believed deeply in civic duty, serving as a Montvale Councilman and helping to found the Montvale Public Library. He loved competition in all forms, from business and golf to a friendly wager among friends. Strong in his convictions, honest to the core, and always generous in spirit, he lived his values every day.
He shared 65 years of a loving marriage to his best friend Dolores, a partnership defined by love, loyalty and laughter. Together they raised two children and built a life full of purpose and adventure. He and Dolores traveled the world, collecting memories and friendships that enriched every stage of their life.
He found his greatest joy in family gatherings, sharing stories about life, golf and the stock market. Jerry is survived by his wife Dolores, their children and their spouses, Tracey and Arne Brandon, Curtis and Anna-Karin Kuliga as well as 5 grandchildren, Adam, Kyle, Jillian, Olivia and Lucas. Jerry will be remembered for his integrity, generosity and the unwavering love he had for his family.
There will be a memorial funeral Mass on Saturday, October 18th, 2025 at The Most Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, 127 Paterson Avenue, Wallington, New Jersey 07057. Jerry will be laid to rest at the Holy Cross Cemetery, 340 Ridge Road; North Arlington, NJ 07031.
