For Uncle Amby...
Uncle Amby,
My memories of you are from when I was very young and visiting in Garfiled. I remember you as a very gentle soul sitting in your rocking chair and smoking your pipe. Being a child, it always amazed me how much you looked like my Dad and how I had to look twice to make sure who was who.
I know, without a doubt, that you are in a better place now - reunited with family and friends who love you. And one day we will all be reunited at the most wonderful party hosted by God.
I know you are at peace now and ask you to save a place for me - next to you - so we can sit side-by-side in our celestial rocking chairs.
Until we meet again...Love, your niece, Irene
