VISITATION IS NOW 2-4 AND 7-9 PM WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 23, 2011. FUNERAL SERVICE 8 PM.

Seragusa, Blanche (Wolak) - died on February 20th, 2011 at the age of 80 years. Born in Passaic, New Jersey on October 22, 1930, to Casmire and Mary (Kolenski) Wolak; Blanche was the third child of fourteen children, six sisters and seven brothers. Blanche is survived by her beloved husband Carmelo V. Seragusa. They were married on September 6th, 1945, in Delaware, MD. Blanche was a home maker, most of her adult life; but there was a time that Blanche worked, and was proud of that work, and the lifetime of stories that resulted from that job. She worked at a clothing factory in Clifton, during the late 1940's. It was here that she was responsible for steaming and preparing the garments to be shipped to high end retailers and boutiques. Blanche often recalled, "Purchasers were always coming to meet the woman who sent them flawlessly prepared merchandise." Later in life, Blanche took an interest in Bingo and became quite the regular. Her family raves about her cooking, and just how much it is already missed. For Blanche it was all about Family, she and Carmelo had five children, Debbie Seragusa of Garfield, Patti Maslihan Seragusa of Toms River, Gabrielle Seragusa of Garfield, Denise Seragusa, and Carmelo Seragusa Jr.
Denise and Carmelo Jr., predeceased Blanche. Blanche's family recalls with great fondness, the good nature and good humor she had. She liked pulling a good prank, just as much as having one pulled on her. Her spirit will live on in all who knew her.

In addition to her beloved husband and her loving children; Blanche is survived by her and devoted grandchildren Lauren Gawron, Marc Maslihan, Ashley Seragusa, Brian Mundell Jr. and Danielle Mundell.
Visiting will take place on Wednesday, February 23th, 2011; 2-4 and 7-9 PM Warner-Wozniak Funeral Service 80 Midland Avenue, Wallington, NJ 07057. A funeral service will take place on Wednesday evening at 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
