Condolence From: Ned Murray
Condolence: My thoughts and prayers are with you Sharon, Michelle and Lesley. I've known your husband and Dad for nearly 10 years first as an associate and then as a dear friend who I always enjoyed talking to about everything even beyond our work together. A good, honest and caring man with a great sense of humor Ernie will be missed greatly by all that knew him. His warm smile will always be with me.

Condolence: Dear Girls,
There are not enough words to express my sadness in learning of Ernie's passing. His love for you all and for his family was obvious to all the Blounts. Ernie always made Momma smile when he called to update Aunt Judy or made a special trip to Rockingham to show his girls off and make Momma feel special too. Keeping up with family is not easy when we are all so far apart but Ernie worked overtime to keep connected and we valued that tremendously. His love for Aunt Josephine was just the same. He shared much of his family life to keep us all connected. What a blessing he was been to the Swigers and Blounts.

He set an example that Charles, Davis, and I pledge to try to pick up and carry on for Ernie and all the Swigers. Family makes the good and the sad better. Sharon, Michelle and Lesley, we pledge to pick up Ernie's example.
Love to you all ... We were blessed to call your daddy and husband "family".
Joy Blount Swinnie

Condolence: I knew and worked with Ernie for many years. He was always a gentleman and a professional, and I will miss our conversations. It will be hard to continue working without him.
Godspeed on your next assignment, Ernie.
