Helena Baginski, of Wallington, died on Jan 28th, she was 94. Helena was born in Piotrowice, Poland on March 8, 1919 to Jan and Maria (Kaminska) Zukowski. In the early 1940’s she married Zygmunt Baginski, in Poland. Helena came to the United States in 1966, settling in Wallington, where she was able to cultivate her hobbies of gardening and cooking. She also enjoyed crocheting and sewing, but most important to her was just being “Babcia”. Helena had also worked at Air Wick in Carlstadt for over twenty years before retiring. Helena is survived by her devoted children Bronislawa “Bernice” and husband Mieczyslaw Kluska of Wallington, and Jan and wife Maria Baginski of Saddle Brook. She is also survived by her beloved six grandchildren and her nine cherished great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Helena was predeceased by her husband Zygmunt in 1978 and her five sisters and one brother. Visiting 4 – 8 pm Thursday, Jan 30 Warner-Wozniak Funeral Service, 80 Midland Ave, Wallington. A funeral mass will be celebrated 10am Fri, Most Sacred Heart of Jesus 127 Paterson Ave, Wallington, followed by interment at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Saddle Brook.
