Jan Bortniczuk of Wallington, died on August 26th, 2012, he was 56 years old. He was born in Milejczyce, Poland on July 6, 1956 to Mikolaj and Walentyna (Kulawiak) Bortniczuk. He came to the United States in 1981, living first in Clifton and then Wallington. He worked as a maintenance man in apartment complexes in Hackensack, NJ before working at the Hillside Cemetery, Lyndhurst, NJ.
Jan enjoyed a good game of soccer, playing cards and his scratch off's. Jan is survived by his beloved wife Irene his loving niece Maggie Micevski, and his dear sisters Janina Skinder of Passaic, Barbara Wozniak of North Arlington and Helena of Poland. A memorial funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, Aug 28th at 5:30 PM at Church of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, 127 Paterson Ave. Wallington, NJ.
