Obituary for Joseph F. "Joe" Wronko

Joseph F. "Joe"  Wronko
Joseph of Rutherford, NJ died on November 5th, 2012; he was 72. Joe was born in Jersey City on March 9, 1940 to Jospeh M. and Blanche (Sitkiewicz) Wronko. He was raised in Jersey City, moving to East Rutherford in 1959 and then Rutherford in 1969. Joe graduated from St. Anthony’s High School Class of 1957, where he played basketball and other sports. He has continued to follow the school’s sports program ever since. Joe married Mary “Pat” Siwulec on Feb. 11, 1961 at St. Anthony’s Church in Jersey City. Joe was a proud member of the Knights of Columbus, Most Sacred Heart of Jesus Council 3644, Wallington, NJ where he had served as Grand Knight and most recently served as a Trustee. He had also served as a Former District Deputy. Joe worked as the Director of Quality Control at Lipton Tea in Englewood Cliffs for 40 years retiring in 1998. Joe is survived by his loving wife Mary “Pat” of fifty-one years; his devoted children and their spouses, daughter Susan Serrao and Kevin Kuriawa; son Allen and Deborah Wronko, son Joseph and Kris Ann Wronko, and son Christopher and Betty Wronko. He is survived by his dear brother Eugene M. Wronko Sr. His brother Raymond B. Wronko died in 2002. He is also survived by his cherished grandchildren, Phillip and Julia Serrao, Brianna and Arabella Wronko, Melissa, Rachel and Maggie Wronko, Christopher, Lilliana Wronko and Justin Kuriawa. Visiting Thursday 2-4 and 6-9 pm at Warner-Wozniak Funeral Service 80 Midland Ave. Wallington, NJ. Funeral Mass 10:30AM, Friday Nov. 9th at Most Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, 127 Paterson Ave. Wallington. Contributions to the St. Anthony’s High School Alumni Assoc.
