Obituary for Madeline "Madge" Seno (Koenig)

Madeline Seno, a lifelong resident of Garfield, died on Dec 14th, 2014, she was 85. Madge, as known by her friends, was born in Garfield, NJ on May 26, 1929 to Paul and Madeline (Hoppan) Koenig. Madeline was a graduate of the Passaic General Hospital School of Nursing, and spent her career working as a Registered Nurse, retiring in the early 1980’s. Madeline married John R. Seno, at Most Holy Name Church in Garfield on May 8th, 1954. John predeceased Madge on June 21st 2012, they enjoyed 58 years of marriage. In addition to being a parishioner of Most Holy Name Church in Garfield, Madeline was a member of the Passaic General Hospital School of Nursing Alumni Association. Madeline is survived by her loving and devoted son John C. Seno of Garfield and her dear cousins Dorothy Simon and Louise Post. She was predeceased by her beloved sister Judy McManus Koenig on Dec 15th, 2013. Visiting 4-8 PM, Warner-Wozniak Funeral Service, 80 Midland Ave, Wallington, NJ. A funeral mass will be celebrated 10 AM, Thursday, Dec 18th, at Church of the Most Holy Name, 99 Marsellus Place, Garfield. Interment will follow at St. Michael’s Cemetery, So. Hackensack.
