Childhood Memories
Ever since I can remember, Dave lived around the corner from me on Pulaski. Almost every day in the summer, I'd go to his house, he'd come to mine. Or we'd be causing some mischief with David J. nextdoor. From lego sets (the ones Stevie didn't throw out the window), to megablocks, knex, play-doh, action figures, remote control cars, riding bikes, playing at the park, video games, and causing some sort of trouble any chance we'd get, my childhood is knitted with memories of and with Dave. Him and my younger cousin Matt were in the same class, so that made my connection to him even greater. We lost touch as of the last few years, but whenever we'd run into each-other, we'd laugh about the old times and start chatting like we had always been friends.
I'll never forget all of the times we've shared that shaped my childhood and made me who I am today. I felt genuinely proud every time I'd talk to you, or someone else, and hear about how well you were doing. I was actually just thinking the other day about how I was hoping to see you and everyone else we're friends with at the Fireman's Parade this year.
You've definitely made your mark in Wallington's heart, and you'll never be forgotten.
Rest in Peace.
